Our
experience

Two decades of SEO, through every algorithm change that mattered.

Search has changed more in the last twenty years than almost any other part of marketing, and we have been doing SEO through all of it. We started when many agencies still sold keyword stuffing and paid link schemes. We watched Google’s Panda and Penguin updates wipe those shortcuts out, then rebuilt for mobile-first indexing, tuned sites for Core Web Vitals, and adapted to the helpful content updates and AI Overviews.

Every one of those changes taught the same lesson: the sites that keep ranking are genuinely useful, technically sound and trusted by other sites. That is the only kind of SEO we do, and it is why our clients’ sites consistently rank on the keywords that bring them business.

01

Keyword research based on how clients really search

People rarely search the way professionals talk. They don’t type “matrimonial litigation”; they type “how to get custody of my child in Ontario” or “divorce lawyer near me”. We research the real phrases your prospective clients use, separate the searches from people who are ready to hire from those who are still reading, and prioritize the terms that are worth the most to your business rather than the ones with the biggest numbers.

02

Technical SEO from the team that builds the site

We have designed and built more than 250 websites, so we fix technical problems at the source instead of filing a report and hoping someone else does. Site architecture, internal linking, page speed, crawlability, canonical tags, structured data and XML sitemaps are all part of the work. Website migrations are where rankings are most often lost; we plan redirects page by page so years of search equity move with you to the new site.

03

Content that answers questions properly

Thin pages don’t rank in competitive markets. We plan and write practice area pages, service pages, FAQs and articles that answer the questions your clients actually ask, in plain language and in enough depth to be useful. For professional firms we write or edit with your team so every page is accurate, and we make authorship, credentials and experience visible, because that is what Google looks for on sensitive topics.

04

Local SEO for firms that serve a city

For most professional firms, the Google map results matter as much as the regular listings. We optimize your Google Business Profile, from categories and services to photos and posts, keep your name, address and phone number consistent across directories, build proper pages for each office location, and help you earn steady, genuine reviews. Those are the signals that decide who appears in the local map pack.

05

Authority you earn, not buy

Links from other reputable sites remain one of the strongest ranking signals. We earn them the slow, durable way: listings in respected professional directories, associations and bar organizations, local press, articles and commentary from your team, speaking engagements and community involvement. We don’t use paid link networks. We have seen sites penalized for them, and recovering costs far more than doing it properly.

06

Reporting you can follow

Every month you see where you rank for the keywords that matter, how much organic traffic you received, and, most importantly, how many calls and form submissions came from search. Google Search Console and Google Business Profile data sit next to Analytics, and every report ends with what we did and what we plan to do next.

For law
firms

SEO for law firms is held to a higher standard.

Legal search is one of the most competitive spaces online, and Google treats legal information with extra caution. Having worked with more than 100 law firms, we know what it takes to rank there.

01

“Your Money or Your Life” content

Google classes legal content as “Your Money or Your Life”: information that can seriously affect someone’s finances, freedom or family. Its quality guidelines expect that content to show real expertise and trustworthiness. We build that into the site with detailed lawyer bios, clear authorship on articles, links to Law Society listings and credentials, and content reviewed by the lawyers who practise in that area.

02

Competing with directories and the biggest firms

Legal results are crowded with directories, government pages and national firms with enormous budgets. Small and mid-sized firms win by being focused: deeper practice area content than anyone else, a strong local presence for each office, and pages that answer the specific questions people ask in your city. We pick the battles your firm can win and win them first.

03

Practice area pages done properly

Each practice area, and often each type of matter within it, deserves its own page that explains the process, the timelines, what clients should expect and how your firm handles it. Those pages rank, they convert, and they give AI tools something accurate to quote. A single page listing ten services does none of that.

04

Reviews, handled with care

Reviews influence both rankings and the decision to call. We help you build a steady, ethical process for asking satisfied clients for reviews, and we help you respond to them, including negative ones, without disclosing anything that breaches client confidentiality.

FAQ

Questions we hear most

Most sites see meaningful movement in three to six months. Competitive terms take longer; technical fixes can help sooner.

We can. We develop a content strategy with you and write or edit pages and articles to match it.

Yes. AI answers draw heavily on well-structured, authoritative websites. Strong SEO is the foundation for GEO.

Yes. You get clear reporting on keyword rankings, traffic and conversions, with what we plan to do next.

No one honestly can, because Google controls the results. What we commit to is the work that moves rankings, transparent reporting on where you stand, and a clear explanation of what we are doing about it.

Before the design starts. Site structure, page content and redirects from the old site all affect rankings, and they are much easier to get right in the plan than to fix after launch.

Access to Google Analytics, Search Console and your Google Business Profile, plus some time from your team to review content for accuracy. We handle the rest.
